We have loved hosting many guests for Experience Days over the past few years.
Bookings usually take place on Saturdays, starting at 10am and finishing by 3pm. You will become familiar with the tools and equipment needed to master these skills. You’ll be working with hot molten glass straight from the furnace, so you’ll need attention to detail and a steady pair of hands!
During the day you will be introduced to techniques such as:
• Gathering molten glass from the furnace.
• Shaping and working the glass using a variety of tools.
• Working with glass colours.
• Blowing a glass vessel.
By the end of the day, you can expect to have made several pieces. These usually include a bauble, a small sculpture and a blown vessel, and anything else that you might wish to create! These will be yours to keep and treasure, and will be posted to you once they have been cooled and packaged.
Prices: £125 per person, or £225 for two. Vouchers can also be purchased as gifts.
Home cooked lunch and refereshments provided throughout.
